ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A man is in custody accused of uploading images of child pornography, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Jonathan Seth Holshouser, 27, of Salisbury, is charged with four counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a subject that was uploading images to a social media site that contained child pornography.

Upon further review of the images uploaded, the sheriff’s office determined that the images did contain child pornography.

On Tuesday, investigators executed a search warrant in the 8500 block of Castor Road, which was determined by the IP address used to upload the images.

When the search warrant was executed, Holshouser was arrested.

Holshouser was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $20,000 secured bond.

Additional charges are pending, the sheriff’s office said.
