Keeping up with AC issues in the Piedmont

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. -- On a day of record-breaking high temperatures, air-conditioning companies across the Piedmont were very busy.

Eanes Heating and Air Conditioning on West Market Street in Greensboro was getting about three times their normal call volume.

From repairing broken units to regular preventative maintenance, crews are working overtime to make sure folks stay cool.

They suggest cleaning your unit and filters to prevent any problems this summer.
