Both were in waist-deep water at the time of the attacks.

He is actually from Colorado Springs, Colo. Law enforcement and civic officials at a press conference this morning said the boy was from Winston-Salem. However, New Hanover Regional Medical Center officials said today the mother of the boy told the hospital he lives in Colorado Springs.
