WASHINGTON — The official start of summer is almost here and you’re not the only one hitting the beach.
Soon the 2016 presidential candidates will likely be taking a few days of vacation before hitting the campaign trail.
A FOX News poll recently asked voters which of the candidates they’d like to spend their summer vacation with.
The results are in, and of the 1,006 registered voters, who were part of the random national sample, 22 percent said they would choose Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
These photos from 1997 and 1998 make it pretty clear the presidential hopeful would also be former President Bill Clinton’s top choice.
According to the poll, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush finished a distant second with just 7 percent of the vote.
Neurosurgeon Ben Carson (5 percent), businessman Donald Trump (5 percent) and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (4 percent) rounded out the top five.
The poll was open-ended so those polled did not have a list of candidates to choose from.
In fact, 25 percent of people said they’d pass all together if they had to go on vacation with one of the White House hopefuls.
Thirty-one percent of those polled also listed Clinton as the candidate they’d least like to go on vacation with, followed by Bush and “none of the above.”
