GTCC is ready to dedicate, show off its newest building

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Wednesday will be a busy day at Guilford Technical Community College’s newest campus.

In the morning, the community college will dedicate its first campus building. That afternoon, the college will hold an open house to show off its course offerings.

The college will dedicate the Business and Industry Building and Conference Center on the college’s Donald W. Cameron Campus at 10 a.m.

The 94,000-square-foot building cost $48 million and opened in August. It has a 250-seat auditorium with a catering kitchen. For students, there’s lab space, seven classrooms and a model warehouse with modern distribution equipment.
