Pedestrian hit by vehicle in downtown Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A pedestrian was hit by a car in downtown Winston-Salem and taken to a hospital with minor injuries, according to officials.

The unidentified victim was struck by the vehicle on West 4th Street at the intersection of North Broad Street, according to authorities.

Emergency responders were called at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The pedestrian was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with what police are calling minor injuries.
