RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County man is accused of posting Craigslist ads offering his girlfriend’s mom to people for “random sex.”

David Carl Pitney Stewart of Raleigh posted an ad saying that his girlfriend’s mother was “bored at work” and put information online for people to contact her for sex.

He was charged with one misdemeanor count each of stalking and resisting, and delaying and obstructing an officer, according to The News & Observer.

The sheriff’s office began an investigation after his girlfriend’s mother reported receiving 30 phone calls and 20 texts between April 28 and May 1 from people trying to have sex with her at work.

According to The News & Observer, the woman said she “immediately suspected” Stewart.

The victim told the paper Stewart was retaliating after she alerted police that he was a heroin user.

Stewart used his own phone number and email to post two ads on Craigslist.

He was arrested and released on May 28 after posting a $7,000 bond, according to The News & Observer.
