4 students treated after apparent overdoses at NC high school

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Four students from East Chapel Hill High School were taken to the hospital Monday after they apparently overdosed on an illegal substance, according to WTVD.

Police were called to the school around 2 p.m. to investigate.

It is still unclear what the “unknown substance” was, but police suspect it was liquid ecstasy.
