Update — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has canceled the Silver Alert for Julius Lee Bellamy.

LEXINGTON, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man in Lexington.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Julius Lee Bellamy also known as “Boot,” who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Bellamy, 75, was last seen at 308 Parker St. in Lexington wearing a blue hat, white shirt, beige shorts and black tennis shoes.

He is 5-foot-6 and weighs about 160 pounds. Bellamy has short gray hair and brown eyes.
