New restaurant coming to Winston-Salem; will be chain’s second location in city

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A Zaxby’s restaurant is planned to open in Winston-Salem later this month, the second one in the city.

Construction is nearly complete at the new location at 3840 Oxford Station Way, according to officials. Opening is planned for early June.

The chain is described as a “fast casual” restaurant offering chicken wings, chicken fingers, sandwiches and salads.

There are more than 600 locations total in 15 states. Zaxby’s opened its first Forsyth County location in December 2005 in Clemmons.
