NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A homeless man from Missouri was arrested in North Myrtle Beach Thursday night after he attacked another homeless man.

The men met two days prior to the stabbing, according to WMBF.

At 10:45 p.m 25-year-old Justin Ray Boggs got into an argument with the other homeless man from Maryland on the  1500 block of South Highway 17 in North Myrtle Beach.

Boggs allegedly pulled out a pocket knife, stabbed the other man in the right shoulder and then slashed the right side of the victim’s face.

Boggs fled the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two North Myrtle Beach Public Safety Department officers spotted Boggs early Friday morning in the parking lot of Lumber Liquidators.

He ran, but officers tracked him to the area behind Midtown Bistro and arrested him.
