WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A fire destroyed a dry cleaning business in Winston-Salem early Wednesday morning.

Crews have been on the scene at South Fork Cleaners located on Country Club Road since just after midnight.

When firefighters arrived they could see flames and heavy smoke from the outside.

The fire spread quickly and almost entirely through the business.

Firefighters were able to stop it before it spread to another business, Carolina Wood Floors, which is located directly behind the dry cleaner.

No one was injured in the fire.

Officials are not calling the fire suspicious, but they haven't been able to get inside to figure out how and where it started yet.

Part of the roof collapsed. The rest of the roof is fairly unstable, so officials are waiting until daylight to go inside.
