ASHEBORO, N.C. – Police said they are investigating the “possibility of a miscarried fetus” found in the toilet of an Asheboro gas station.

Asheboro police said they were called to the WilcoHess gas station on Dixie Drive near Asheboro High School at about 8 p.m. Friday.

Police responded after someone called 911 with concerns of what appeared to be a fetus in the bathroom toilet. The witness said the toilet was clogged and overflowing with toilet paper and blood.
