SALISBURY, N.C. – A massive swarm of honey bees have forced a college in North Carolina to relocate its graduation ceremonies.

WCNC reported that about 10,000 to 15,000 bees inside an auditorium at Catawba College in Salisbury forced school officials to move the ceremonies on Saturday.

The bees were discovered in the room where diplomas were to be handed out, according to WCNC. The bees were also seen clustered together in trees.

The ceremonies will be relocated to a chapel at the school. No significant bee stings have been reported.
