CONCORD, N.C. -- This edition of Roy’s Folks is tied to the upcoming races in Charlotte. Right beside the Charlotte Motor Speedway you’ll find the gallery and studio of artist Sam Bass.

After decades of depicting the personalities and scenes around the track, Sam has become synonymous with NASCAR racing. He has done paintings of all the big names in the sport, designed many of the paint schemes seen on the cars and for the past 30 years he’s done the covers for the racing programs sold at the track.
