Fourth case of rabies in Guilford County reported in High Point

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A raccoon in High Point is the fourth confirmed case of rabies in the county, the Guilford County Department of Health and Human Services announced today.

The raccoon was found on Langdale Drive in High Point, and tested positive for the virus on May 6, the agency said. It came into contact with a dog.
