Power restored to 2,800 Duke Energy customers in Alamance County

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — More than 2,800 Duke Energy customers were without power in Alamance County Friday afternoon.

The areas affected were near Haw River, Green Level and Mebane.

It is unclear what caused the outages.

The outages were first reported at 1:25 p.m. Friday.

Power was restored by 6:30 p.m., according to Duke Energy.
