Hearings continued for Algarad, two others, charged in connection with deaths at house in Clemmons
CLEMMONS, N.C. — The three people charged in the killings of Joshua Fredrick Wetzler and Tommy Dean Welch, whose remains were found in the backyard of a Clemmons house, had their hearings continued today to Oct. 29, according to The Winston-Salem Journal.
Pazuzu Algarad and Amber Burch are each charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Krystal Matlock is charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
Arrest warrants allege that Algarad killed Wetzler in July 2009 and that Burch and Matlock helped him bury the body. Warrants allege that Burch killed Welch in October 2009 and that Algarad helped bury the body. Both men were shot to death. Autopsy reports released this week show that Welch was shot once in the back of the head and that Wetzler was shot at least seven times, including three times in the head.
