Man OK after being shot at more than 40 times in Detroit

DETROIT — A hail of gunfire erupted early Wednesday morning at a gas station in southwest Detroit.

Police arrived to find a scene riddled with bullets.

Investigators say a man was standing outside his SUV when four masked men pulled up and opened fire.

Police say more than 40 shots rang out, according to WDIV.

The victim ran inside the gas station.

The station manager says he was working in the back room when he heard the cries for help.

The victim was only hit once, sustaining a wound to his ankle, The Detroit News reported.

He was taken to a local where he is listed in stable condition.
