4-vehicle wreck on I-40 in Winston-Salem

UPDATE -- The overturned dump truck is now loaded onto a tow truck after a four-vehicle wreck on the ramp to U.S. 52 north off of I-40 west.

The ramp off of I-40 should re-open soon.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Crews are on the scene of a four-vehicle wreck on Interstate 40 in Winston-Salem.

The wreck happened near U.S. 52, according to Forsyth Emergency Services.

One person was entrapped in the wreck, but crews were able to pull the person out.

The overturned dump truck involved in the wreck is leaking fuel.

Two people were taken to the hospital.
