Aww! Check out this video footage of these un-bear-ably cute rescued bear cubs from North Carolina.
AppBlackBearRescue recently published the video to their YouTube page.
Bonnie Blue and Ridgeway have been at Appalachian Bear Rescue for seven days and their progress has been encouraging. They seem to get stronger and more active by the hour, and are lapping up formula on their own. Bonnie Blue is definitely “top cub” at the moment, but that can change quickly. Ridgeway has the slightly “grumpy” look that many young cubs exhibit. Maybe, his sister bugs him too much, but he won’t let her out of his sight for a moment. This is cub business and none of ours; the cubs will sort it out.
Appalachian Bear Rescue (ABR), located just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park near Townsend, Tennessee, is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation center for orphaned and injured black bear cubs. Visit our website for more information:
Both bear cubs were rescued along the Blue Ridge Parkway in western North Carolina, according to WNCN.
