dogs 2FOX8 is teaming up this week with the Guilford County Animal Shelter and Animal Control for the 17th Annual Rabies and Spot Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic at the FOX8 studios.

This year, both the Rabies and Spot Mobile Spay and Wellness Clinic will be held on the same days: Wednesday, April 15 (1:30 to 5:30 p.m.) and Thursday, April 16 (3 to 7 p.m.). The clinic is open to all North Carolina residents.

To sign up for a spay or neuter, please call (336) 279-0563 for more details. Registration is not required for a rabies vaccination.

Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.

The Clinic will be at the FOX8 studios at WGHP FOX8, 2005 Francis Street, High Point.

North Carolina law requires that all domestic pets, whether living inside or outside, age four months or older must be vaccinated against rabies.

The rabies vaccination will be $5 per shot for a one-year vaccination. We will also provide a three-year vaccination (providing proof of prior year vaccination is established) for $10. Cash and personal checks will be accepted.
