Two NC cities named among the happiest in America, including one from Triad

Two North Carolina cities have been named on a list of the happiest cities in America, including one from the Triad.

247wallst.com recently posted a list of the 10 happiest (and most miserable) U.S. cities, based on the 2014 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.

The data measured the well-being of residents in each metropolitan statistical area based on interviews conducted between January and December of last year.

North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton, Fla. took the No. 1 spot. But Winston-Salem was ranked at No. 10 and Raleigh was No. 3.
