SURRY COUNTY, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing man in Surry County.

Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for Justin Matthew Dixon, 32, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Dixon is 5-foot-8-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has long, black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen at 104 Dowd Place wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes.

Dixon is believed to be driving a 2002 red Ford Ranger with the North Carolina license plate BMM-9979.
