GREENSBORO, N.C. -- She may not be old enough to drive, but this Northwest Middle schooler has already published her first book.

At only 12 years old, Paris Stankewich wrote and illustrated the book "Turtlee in Paris".

The story is all about her plush turtle traveling around the world.

"When we went to Paris, France, I took pictures of my plush turtle all over and so I started writing a book about it," Paris said.

Now, Paris is working on a sequel called "Turtlee in Costa Rica".

All of the locations are based on places her family travels to on vacation.
