GREENWOOD, S.C. — A woman convicted of prostituting a 15-year-old girl was sentenced on Thursday.

Cacy Bailey, 35, of Greenwood, S.C., was convicted of two counts of promoting the prostitution of a minor.

According to WHNS, Bailey’s case was scheduled to go to trial next week, but she chose to admit guilt, waiving her right to a jury trial.

In 2013, Greenwood police responded to reports of prostitution and drug use involving Bailey and the 15-year-old girl.

Bailey was accused of advertising the availability of herself and the child. Several men accused of paying Bailey with drugs and money were also arrested and charge in the case, WHNS reported.

Bailey was sentenced to 12 years in prison. She will not be eligible for parole.
