Fun family events to celebrate Easter across the Piedmont

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- FOX8's Shannon Smith has a list of fun family events to celebrate Easter.


  •  Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
    • When: Saturday, March, 28 from 8-10 a.m.
    • Where: Thataways Youth Center in Burlington
    • Admission is $5 and you can preregister by calling (336) 222-5134
  • City Lake Park's Annual Easter Egg Hunt
    • When: Saturday, March, 28 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
      • Those ages 3 and under start at 11 a.m.
      • 4-7 year olds start at 11:45 a.m.
      • 8-10 year olds start at 12:30 p.m.
      • The events include inflatables, costumed characters and games
      • Admission is free
  • Hippity Hoppi-Tea Party 
    • When: Saturday, March, 28, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
    • Where: The Winston-Salem Children's Museum
    • Each child received a fun-filled goody bag
    • Register ahead of time on their website
  • The Easter Bunny Express
    • When: March 28 and 29 then again April 3 and 4
    • Where: The North Carolina Transportation Museum
    • Cost: $10-14
  • Burlington Easter Egg Hunt
    • When: April 4 at 10 a.m.
    • Where: Burlington City Park
    • It's free and you can have a picture taken with the Easter Bunny
  • Winston-Salem Easter Egg Hunt
    • When: April 4 at 10:30 a.m.
    • Where: Salem Tavern Meadow

These are just a few of the Easter events going on in the community. Lots of churches and community centers are also holding Easter egg hunts that are open to the community.
