CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Make-A-Wish Foundation threw a Charlotte teen an 18th birthday party fit for a princess, complete with a grand entrance, according to WSOC.

Kendall Ferguson, 18, was carried into the ballroom at the Ritz Carlton uptown Friday night with more than 100 friends and family applauding her. Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina organized the masquerade ball for Kendall.

Ferguson is currently waiting for her second heart transplant. She received her first at 2 years old. She danced and dined with those who supported her through her journey.

“I’m speechless, I don’t know what to say,” Ferguson said. “I knew it was going to be big and everything, I just didn’t know how amazing it was put together.”
