Man builds bluebird houses out of salvaged materials

LEXINGTON, N.C. -- Charles Barefoot enjoys spending time in his workshop, where he makes all kinds of things, from whistles to wooden folk toys.

But Barefoot is best known for building bluebird houses.

"I like to stay busy and I love the birds," he said.

Last year, he built about 150 -- and he gave about 100 away.
