Multi-vehicle crash occurs on Business 40 near Kernersville

FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. — Emergency workers are on the scene of a crash on Business 40 near Kernersville.

The crash, which occurred Monday afternoon, involves multiple vehicles including a U-Haul truck.

According to officials, a U-Haul towing a pickup lost control, sideswiping a second pickup. That pickup then flipped over and landed in a ditch.

The U-Haul then crossed back over, collided with the guardrail and came to rest in the median.

The driver of the U-Haul, identified as Wenck Martin, was not injured.

The two occupants of the pickup, identified as Gary Clark and Sandra Taylor, were both taken to the hospital.

Police classified Clark and Taylor’s injuries as “minor.”
