Greensboro police investigate after man walks into hospital with gunshot wound

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police in Greensboro are investigating after a man walked into the hospital Monday morning with a gunshot wound. 

Officers responded to a call about a shooting near Paschal Street and High Point Road.

Off-duty officers at Wesley Long Hospital told police canvassing the area that a man with a gunshot wound to the chest walked into the hospital around 2 a.m. 

The victim was admitted to the hospital and is in stable condition. 

The suspect is described as a male with short, mini dreads and no facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time of the shooting.
