Man wanted in Rowan County for using baby car seat to steal wallet from YMCA

SALISBURY, N.C. — The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man in connection to the theft of wallet at a YMCA. 

On Feb. 23, a member of the East Rowan County YMCA reported that his wallet, along with his credit cards was stolen while he was working out. 

Surveillance footage from the YMCA shows the suspect carrying an empty baby car seat just after the theft. 

The suspect then used one of the cards at a Walmart in Salisbury, according to a press release from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
