Durham DA to seek death penalty in shooting deaths of three students in Chapel Hill

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham County District Attorney’s Office said Monday it will seek the death penalty for Craig Stephen Hicks in the shooting deaths of three Muslim college students in Chapel Hill, according to WTVD

Hicks, 46, was charged with murder in connection to the shooting deaths of three college students in Chapel Hill in February

Investigators determined that a parking dispute could have been a motive for the shooting.
