Man stabbed, injured in Greensboro hotel

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A man is accused of stabbing and injuring another man in a hotel room in Greensboro early Saturday morning.

Robert Patterson has been charged with assault with deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to the Greensboro Police Department.

Police said the stabbing was reported at about 2 a.m. in a room at Sun Suites at 1200 Lanada Road.

The victim suffered two stab wounds to his abdomen and was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing. Police have not released details surrounding the circumstances of the incident.
