Two people, including mother, arrested in connection to death of NC baby

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Two people, including the child’s mother, have been arrested and charged in connection to the death of a 5-month-old North Carolina infant, according to WLOS.

Tyler Dale McCurry is charged with murder, and mother Jennie Reynolds is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

On Jan 11, deputies found Lebron Jayden Reynolds unresponsive after receiving a call in Rutherford County. After an autopsy, the Medical Examiner advised the cause of Lebron’s death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Baby Lebron had bruising around the neck and jawbone, according to the search warrant. McCurry and Reynolds were arrested on Monday after a traffic stop in Forest City. After a search incident to arrest, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized at the scene, resulting in additional charges.
