Woman injured in Greensboro wreck Sunday dies from injuries

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman injured in a wreck on Sunday has died.

Martha Hooks Hobbs, 66, was injured in a hit-and-run wreck on High Point Road, according to Greensboro police.

She died from her injuries today at Moses Cone Hospital, said Doug Allred, spokesman for the hospital.

Jose Serafin Lopez Romero, 22, of 3912 Overland Heights, is charged with driving while impaired, felony hit-and-run, reckless driving to endanger and no operator’s license, according to jail records.
