Popular NC country singer Eric Church welcomes newborn son

Popular country singer Eric Church and his wife Katherine welcomed their second child on Sunday.

TasteOfCountry.com reported that Tennessee Hawkins Church weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth.

“I’m thrilled that Hawk and his mom are doing well,” Church said, according to the report. “We aren’t sleeping very much, but we are enjoying every part of this incredible journey. I’m very blessed and thankful.”

Church and his wife married in North Carolina in 2008. Church was born in Granite Falls, N.C. His singles include hits like “Talladega” and “Drink in My Hand.”
