BOSTON — People in Boston might be suffering from cabin fever based on the latest craze on social media: jumping out of windows.

That’s right, people in Boston are wearing shorts and jumping from their windows into the snowbanks below.

The Mayor of Boston is urging people to stop participating in what’s being called the “Boston Blizzard Challenge.”

“First of all, it’s a foolish thing to do and you could kill yourself,” Marty Walsh, the mayor of Boston said.

Some of the jumps involve less challenge than others, but the mayor said he’s asking people to act responsibly.

“This isn’t Loon Mountain. This is the city of Boston,” he said.
