BALD HEAD ISLAND, N.C. -- The Coast Guard rescued four people off the coast of North Carolina this weekend.
The passengers had to be rescued after strong winds ripped through the boat's sails.
The boat was about 60 miles southeast of Bald Head Island.
The Coast Guard was notified around 6 p.m. Saturday and responded by sending a helicopter crew from the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush.
All four passengers were lifted to safety about two hours later. No one was hurt.
