KFOR reported that student Dan Williams secretly surprised all 1,076 girls at Edmond High School on Friday with cards and candy.

“All the girls were surprised this morning,” student Laura Pitcock told KFOR.

Williams’ random act of kindness was supposed to stay a secret, according to KFOR.

“He wanted to stay anonymous, but I have a feeling a good deed like this is going to get out,” said student Sarah Cameron.

But eventually word got out about the true identity of the school’s secret Romeo. Students created a giant “thank you” card for Williams on campus.

Williams said he worked all summer to raise enough money for his Valentine’s Day surprise.

“To know that someone cares about them, that the best feeling in the world I think,” he said.
