WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — MTV is looking for young people to participate in a film shoot in Winston-Salem Friday afternoon.

The shoot is for a documentary by journalist and filmmaker Jose Antonio Vargas (“Documented”), who will be moderating a conversation about race relations and “what it means to be young and white in America today,” according to a statement from the production team. The documentary will look at why young white Americans often feel uncomfortable about discussions involving race.

Producers are looking for a diverse group of young people, ranging in age from 18 to 25, who want to “Share their views, or simply come to listen.”

The event will be held at 4:45 p.m. today at the Community Arts Café Underground Theater, 411 West Fourth St.
