Woman charged for fatal penis enhancement procedure, accused of new injections
EAST ORANGE, N.J. — A bogus cosmetic surgeon in New Jersey, who was out on bail, is facing new charges for performing illegal silicone injections.
Kasia Rivera, 37, was first charged in connection to the death of 22-year-old Justin Street in 2011 when she allegedly injected a him with silicone during a penis enlargement procedure.
Street died after suffering a clot in his lungs that led to a silicone embolism.
Rivera was scheduled to stand trial on Feb. 24, but now she’s facing new charges for allegedly injecting a woman’s breasts and buttocks with silicone.
Rivera is back in jail under a $200,000 bail for performing illegal medical procedures according to NJ.com.
