Mini-grant brings musical instruments to High Point school

HIGH POINT, N.C. -- One elementary school in High Point received the gift of music through a mini-grant.

Oak View Elementary School received a mini-grant from the Guilford Education Alliance that helped teachers purchase multi-cultural instruments from Africa and South America.

Teachers there are excited about all the skills that can be taught through playing these instruments.

Oak View was just one of the four schools in High Point that were awarded the grant.
