GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police in Greensboro are holding a child safety seat clinic Friday to help parents ensure their children's car seats are installed properly.

State law requires children who are younger than 8 years old or weigh less than 80 pounds to have a car seat.

Statistics show that 75 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly.

Greensboro Police will have experts available to check your child's car seat at the Target on Lawndale Drive Friday.
