5 one-pot meth labs discovered in Surry County

DOBSON, N.C. — The Surry Sheriff’s Office discovered five one-pot methamphetamine labs in a building off of Wilbur Road in Dobson recently.

Ricky Odell Whitaker, 41, and Timothy Wayne Bledsoe, 35, were arrested and charged on multiple counts related to methamphetamine production and possession.

Investigators found the labs on Jan. 16 when they searched a residence on the 200 block of Wilbur Doss Road.

Whitaker is being held on a $ 25,000 secured bond and Bledsoe is being held on a $50,000 secured bond.
