CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man sandwiched between two semitrailers after a 26-car pileup survivied and was miraculously uninjured.

WSOC reported that 27-year-old Kaleb Whitby walked away from the crash with just Band-Aids. A photo of him involved in the mangled wreck on an Oregon highway is quickly going viral.

Whitby is well known in the bodybuilding community and has ties to several gyms in Fort Mill and the Charlotte area.

WSOC spoke with Whitby’s sister Kaily about her brother’s incredible story of survival.

“He basically was praying the entire time. It was all through prayer that he was OK. He said just watching things happen, he just braced himself and was like, ‘If this is my time to go, let it be. If it’s not, let me be OK,’” Kaily Whitby said.
