Man, woman accused of cooking meth at NC apartment

LENOIR, N.C. — A man and woman are accused of cooking meth at their North Carolina apartment.

WSOC reported that Lucas Duran Sanders, 26, and Jeni Leigh Lemaire, 27, both of Lenoir, were arrested after a complaint by a social worker.

The social worker was inspecting the apartment and found drug paraphernalia and materials used to make meth, according to WSOC. He then contacted police.

Authorities reportedly executed a search warrant and found chemicals to manufacture meth and a lab.

Both the suspects face drug charges including felonious manufacture methamphetamine and felonious maintain a dwelling to keep/store a controlled substance.

They were placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond each. Both have court planned for Tuesday.
