Wife of Randolph County sheriff has larceny case continued in Guilford County court

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The wife of the Randolph County sheriff was given a new court date following her first appearance in court Thursday for a misdemeanor charge.

Sandra Jackson Reid, 56, was cited with larceny by price substitution from Belk’s at Four Seasons Town Center in Greensboro on Dec. 11. She is the wife of Randolph County Sheriff Maynard Reid.

She had her first court appearance in Guilford County District Court on Thursday. Reid had her case continued to March 4.

Reid stepped down from her position as lieutenant at the sheriff’s office following the citation.
