Update: Silver Alert cancelled for missing man in Raleigh

Update 6:20 a.m. — The Silver Alert Cancelled for Daniel Aliym Darby was cancelled.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man in Raleigh.

Police are asking citizens to be on the lookout for Daniel Aliym Darby, 18, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Darby is about 5 foot 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has black hair and black eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red and white pair of Nike Air Jordans at 124 Smith St., Thomasville.
