Postal Service employee in NC indicted for allegedly committing fraud, identity theft

REIDSVILLE, N.C. — A United States Postal Service employee was indicted for allegedly committing Social Security fraud and identity theft.

The indictment alleges that Joyce Huskey Stanley, 55, of Reidsville, used Social Security numbers that were not assigned to her, unlawfully used someone else’s identification and used an unauthorized access device with intent to defraud another.

Stanley was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond.

The case is still under investigation by the Postal Service, along with Secret Service and the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
